The amazing views of the rolling hills and vineyards. The bistro on-site served fantastic meals, and we loved that it was family-friendly. My sons had a blast exploring the fine grounds.
My kids wished there were more organized activities for children .

the hotel was in a stunning location next to the trattorias, near by restaurants, and vineyards, restaurants, cities of san gimignano and siena. it also was to the nearby villages for evening meals.

This is the kind of hotel that you select if you appreciate to stay on the countryside. The beauty of the landscapes are simply incredible. Accomodations are very good. Jean, the manager is very kind and provides the best assistance. I would recomend this inn to anyone who looks for a quiet place, enjoys the views of the hills, the chianti vineyards and the discovery of small beautiful villages of the chianti country.
Findin out the location. I recommend to call Jean and ask for directions

A Tuscan Dream Come True
The views from our room overlooking the vineyards were amazing, and the pool area provided a serene oasis to unwind. The Michelin-star dining experience was so great, especially the homemade pasta and wine pairings. The staff were warm and helpful, we felt right at home. I wish the bar service could be better organized during peak hours.

This is about the finest place that my wife and I have ever stayed at. You will not find a better atmosphere anywhere in the world as the views are breathtaking and the overall facility is gorgeous. We planned to stay only one night but enjoyed the place so much, we canceled our upcoming reservation to stay another night The manager Jean is a lovely host who is very hospitable and helpful in assisting you on your travels of the area. If you're ever in this part of Italy, I would recommend a visit.

The friendliness of the staff and the ambience of the location and views which on a clear day you can see San Gimignano
The longtitude and latitude do not get you to the hotel so some better description with landmarks to look out for would be better

Fine views from the private patio and delicious Florentine steak. The peaceful pool area provided a perfect retreat, while the attentive staff added a personalized touch. Unfortunately, bar service was disorganized during peak hours, which affected the experience. A good experience with some room for improvement.

We liked everything ! the staff were excellent and the relaxed unhurried atmosphere was perfect. Care had clearly been takien with the design and use of space in what is a characterful old farmhouse. The buffet breakfast was generous and the facilties superb from the selection of places to relax in the beautiful garden, to the pool and our spacious room (a standard room with superior qualties!). Le Piazze is also well located to make day trips to places of culture such as Siena, San Gimignano etc. We hope to revisit in the future.
The directions for getting to Le Piazze were very poor, we got to Castellina from Pisa perfectly well but after about 45 minuites of drivoijng up and down the same piece of road we had to resort to telephoning the hotel. We had no indication that it was 7km out of Castellina. The distance out of Castellina was also a very slight drawback, there is ony one restaurant within walking distance (but i8t is good) and whilst there are some excellent eateries in Castellina, that means a drive and the poor driver can only have a very tiny quantity of the excellent local wine with the meal before setting off on the winding room back!

The location was stunning and amazing for Castellina in Chianti, near to an orchard and the nearby vineyards, restaurants and wineries and Locanda Le Piazze. The standard queen room that we stayed in was a nice size and unique. The service was welcoming with parking nearby.
